#Bsit #programming #networking Choose a career based on experience, education, passion or interest level, market demand and SWOT Analysis.

<strong>Choose A Career Based On Education</strong>: Your education prepares you for a career in an industry by providing you with some background or general theoretical knowledge

<strong>Choose A Career Based On Experience</strong>: Try internship in different industries or companies and based on your experience working in those industries, choose a career. E.g. if you get an internship job making cold calls ... and you discover that you hate it, you may conclude that a career in sales is not for you.

<strong>Choosing A Career Based On Interest Level / Passion</strong>: Do what you love and the money will follow because you will generally excel at or become very good at what you really love. On the other hand, if you don't like a job or career, you will eventually burn out or fail to rise in your profession even when more money is offered.

<strong>Choosing A Career Based On Market Demand</strong>:If your interest level in a number of different industries is the same, you may choose the career that has a higher market demand over the other. For example, if you really don't care about C# versus VB.NET as a first programming langauge, you may choose one over the other based on its popularity in the market place.

#php #mysql #database learning Database Development is easier than learning than learning PHP/MYSQL.

Having said that, the real reason why you are having a tough time with learning PHP is not that it is difficult and it is not that there are too many frameworks.

The real reason is that you haven't learnt how to work with or study technology effectively. It is more of a mindset than a technology issue.

If you have the right mindset, then you will succeed at any PHP or Database Developer job because you will know what to do to succeed at those jobs.

#php #mysql I am currently working as a PHP Developer( for last 1.9 years).

The biggest problem I am facing is not being able to implement the logic in a proper way, i take more time to solve the problem as compare to others, i am not able to analysis the problem and find the solution in quicker way.

Since the programming field is very pressure's field, due to the above i am not able to complete the task on time.

Since there are lot of PHP frameworks like CakePHP, Joomla, Magento etc.

After every few months a new framework comes in market and i found it very difficult to learn a new framework after every few months.

I am interested in Database developement, is this right to move to this field (database developement), i am totally confused........

Your thoughts and idea will be much appreciated.

I am currently working as a .net Developr( for last 4 years mostly on
contractiong jobs).

The biggest problem I am facing is not being able to keep up with new .net components coming out everyday.

My last probject I was working on was developed in .net 2.0.. now for the new positiong everyone is asking for 3.5( and 4.0 is looming on my head).

I have a friend who is working as a Business Objects Consultant, and I am thinking of switching toward Datawarehousing/BI.

Would that be a godo career move from my side.

I think they get paid more and also do not need to keep reading like crazy.

However I am not sure of how will be the future of Business Objects and is there any chance beyond a report developer.

HOpefully, when the economy is better, I will be able to get a fulltime job and settled in one place.

Your thoughts and idea will be much appreciated.

The Software Quality Assurance or Software Tester Career Path and the Technical Writer career path are two careers for business analysts who are transitioning out.

The Technical Writer Career Path utilizes the business analysts technical documentation skills and experience and the software quality assurance or software tester career path utilizes the business analysts knowledge of SDLC (software development life cycle) and application / system analysis background.

Does that answer your questions ... please let me know.

Kingsley

I thank you for your response ...

However it still does not answer the original question I had as I would like to know in which other occupations are the skills of a Business Analyst used.

Please can you assist in this regard?

I am currently a Business Analyst and I have been in the Business Analysis arena for the past four years and I have realised that I might need to make a change in career.

I would like to find out what other careers there are where the skills of a BA would be considered as beneficial as I don't know where to start looking?

Your assistance regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
